After an early morning pickup from your central Luxor hotel or cruise ship, you will travel in an air-conditioned vehicle to the launch site on the west bank of the Nile River.

Upon arrival, you’ll receive a thorough safety briefing before stepping into the sturdy basket of the balloon with your pilot and fellow passengers. Then, feel the excitement build as the brightly colored balloon rises into the sky for your approximately 30-minute flight (weather permitting).

As you ascend, enjoy breathtaking bird’s-eye views of the temples and monuments below, bathed in the glow of the rising sun. Look down over landmarks such as Karnak, Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, and other ancient sites as you take in the peaceful morning atmosphere. If wind conditions allow, you may even float over the Ramesseum, the impressive funerary temple of Pharaoh Ramses II, with its towering pylons, statues, and courtyards.

While you soar above the landscape, a ground support van and crew will follow the balloon, ensuring a smooth landing. After a safe landing, you will receive your personal flight certificate. Finally, enjoy a comfortable drive back to Luxor, where your experience concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or cruise ship in time for breakfast and your morning tour departures.
